Database Administrator ERP, MS SQL
* Performs database and application monitoring, maintenance and performance troubleshooting & tuning. Partners with Infrastructure team to implement performance improvements
* Manages security of database and application
* Designs and implements standards and procedures for administration activities
* Performs upgrades, patches/updates of application and database systems
* Collaborates with Infrastructure team to ensure reliable backup & recovery
* Ensures that all change control procedures are applied to application and data environments
* Partners with ERP and business team members to ensure overall success of ERP system
* Assists with testing for deployment, upgrade and other system changes
* Manage risk to business as it relates to processes and ERP systems
* Create or update application and database documentation
* Provide user support during deployment and 2nd level user support after deployment
* Regularly report project and task status
* Travel varies and may be up to 40% during implementations
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
* Solid fundamental knowledge of design and operation of relational databases
* 5+ years of professional experience in Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008 database administration in an ERP environment
* In-depth knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2008 SSIS, SSAS, SSRS
* Involvement with at least one ERP system implementation
* Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
* Must work well independently and in a team environment
* Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
* Detail oriented with excellent time and work management skills
