Sr. SQL DBA
installation and administration of databases for complex projects involving large systems.
Analysis of client business processes and functional requirements; Contributing ideas in the development environment, motivating the team and guiding them in designing and implement databases for the client. Interact with clients and develop design specifications including modifying existing databases and planning for new. Plan, coordinate and implement security/audit measures to protect data in accordance with company policies as well as statutory requirements. Database migration, replication, performance tuning and monitor. Designing and implementing database backup plans, disaster planning and recovery strategies. Mentoring less experienced developers will be important. Design and development of monitoring tools; Writing and implementing test plans, Track project milestones and deliverables
Bachelor’s degree (or Foreign Equivalent Degree) in Computer Science, any Engineering, Math, CIS, Science, Business, or related with five years of experience. OTHER REQUIREMENTS: (1) At least two years’ experience as DBA for these databases: Oracle 7i, 8i, PL/SQL, SQL Server, Data Cleansing, UNIX Shell Scripting, COBOL, Oracle Database technologies and development methodologies. (2) At least two year's experience in supporting application development for database systems..
