Jr. SQL DBA
Perform various DBA tasks such as install, configure, backup/restore etc.
Monitor databases and support various application developers in stored procedures, views, DDL, etc.
Tune the database for performance and assist in query optimization.
Research various tools and parameters to measure server performance, record/analyze them and take appropriate actions.
Provide support for day-to-day production issues and off-hours support.
Deploy application changes to Test, Staging and Production environments.
Work on system maintenance and software upgrades.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a closely related field of study.
Two (2) to three (3) years related experience or equivalent combination.
Must possess a good knowledge of SQL and experience managing databases/servers.
