Oracle DBA -
* Participating in the migration from Oracle 10g to Oracle 11g
* Administering multiple and very large Oracle 10g/11g RAC Database environments on Linux/UNIX environments
* PL/SQL and SQL tuning and monitoring
* Shell scripting
* PL/SQL coding
* Weblogic Oracle spatial and topology
* Supporting application developers in tuning database applications
* Supporting Oracle database migrations, upgrades, patches and backup
* B.S. degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a similar technical discipline
* 8+ years work experience with Oracle database and a primary focus on DBA related responsibilities, Oracle Database Administration, Oracle Application Server Administration, SQL, PL/SQL, and J2EE application support
* Strong experience with PL/SQL and SQL Tuning is a MUST
* Strong in Shell scripting; Also needs to be strong in PL/SQL coding
* Ability to work under tight deadlines with focus on innovative technical solutions
