Database Systems Administrator
Readiness and willingness to meet developmental group's needs for upcoming milestones. Provide hardware sizing suggestions for new system and replacement/upgrades.
Manage escalated cases with external Venders (Ex. Microsoft/IBM/Oracle/Smaller venders)
Provide best practice suggestion in performance and security enhancements for teams to insure constant improvement in these benchmarks.
Interact with support teams. Hold Meetings to discuss issues that they are experiencing. Provide Progress reports with effected support groups on outstanding issues and planned enhancements.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or relevant experience preferred. Certifications also preferred in focus software.
Experience 8-10 years experience preferred as an administrator of Microsoft Database products.
Computer Environment Microsoft SQL 2000, 2005, 2008 R1, 2008 R2, Microsoft Clustering (2003,2008).
Microsoft Reporting Services (2005,2008)/ Microsoft Visual Studio (2003,2005,2008,2010)
