Database Architect
# Create, maintain, and support Teradata architectural environment
# Manage onshore and offshore DBA Teams
# Create Physical Data Model
# Physical database design
# Administration of production objects in change control environment
# Development of pro-active processes for monitoring capacity and performance
# Perform system level and application level tuning
# Support the application development teams for database needs and guidance
# Provide Production Support
# Database security administration
# Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Management or related technical disciplines required
# 6+ years of experience in the field of Data warehousing
# 6+ years of experience as a Teradata Database Administrator (T12 required & T13 a plus)
# Solid Physical Data Modeling Experience (Erwin required)
# Technical team management experience including offshore team members
# Excellent personal communication, leadership and organizational skills
# Retail or Restaurant Data Warehousing Experience (ideally, POS Knowledge) strongly preferred
# Strong database design, tuning, and trouble shooting skills required
# Teradata Certifications (Masters V2R5 or Masters V12 a plus)
