Oracle Database Administrator (DBA)
* Actively participate in the installation, configuration, upgrades, monitor * Actively participate in on-call rotations for database support
* Manage projects of a small to medium size
* Perform ongoing database security management
* Define and maintain database standards documentation for the organization to ensure consistency in server/instance/database/user creation
* 3+ years experience as an Oracle Database Administrator
* Production experience in Oracle 10g and Oracle 11g
* Strong shell scripting experience
* Experience in managing multiple projects at a time
* Experience in Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM)
* Self starter with the ability to work both independently and cooperatively with others
* Experience in working with Quest products (Performance Analysis, Spotlight, Toad, Lite Speed)
* Experience with database backups, recoveries and data restorations
* Experience in installing, configuring, monitoring, and maintaining databases
* Ability to investigate and resolve problems which may require working with the supplier
* Ability to assist in architecture planning and implementation to maintain a highly available infrastructure
* Ability to analyze, translate and define business requirements into technical solutions.
* Experience in applying software maintenance, upgrades and fixes
* Ability to monitor and react to system-down situations
* Willingness to participate in 24x7 on-call rotations
* Ability and willingness to work with a global support team
