SQL Server DBA
* 3+ years experience as a SQL Server Data Base Administrator
* Production experience in SQL Server 2008
* Strong scripting experience (WMI, VBScripting, PowerShell)
* Experience in managing multiple projects at a time
* Experience in SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
* Self starter with the ability to work both independently and cooperatively with others
* Willingness to participate in 24x7 on-call rotations
* Experience in working with Quest products (Performance Analysis, Spotlight, Toad, Lite Speed)
* Experience in Windows Clustering
* Experience in SQL Server Clustering
* Experience with database backups, recoveries and data restorations
* Experience in installing, configuring, monitoring, and maintaining databases
* Ability to investigate and resolve problems which may require working with the supplier
* Ability to assist in architecture planning and implementation to maintain a highly available infrastructure
* Ability to analyze, translate and define business requirements into technical solutions.
* Experience in applying software maintenance, upgrades and fixes
* Ability to monitor and react to system-down situations
* Ability and willingness to work with a global support team
