Database Administrator
* Database instance creation & deployment
* Development and maintenance of scripts and programs for data exchanges/migration and interfaces with external systems
* Database backup and recovery (RMAN, export/import, DataPump)
* Database upgrades / Oracle Critical Patch Updates (CPU patches)
* Database conversions to Oracle and/or MS SQL Server
* Creation, implementation and management of ad hoc query/reporting, index management, physical database design, and server configuration settings
* Database performance tuning, monitoring, analysis, and capacity planning
* Oracle database design and development using relational database modeling principles & techniques and normalization
* Experience with large data center database infrastructure management, creation and deployment
* Oracle Standard & Enterprise Edition 32/64bit, ASM, Grid Control, RMAN
* Microsoft SQL Standard & Enterprise Edition 32/64bit, SQL Clusters, SSRS
* Clustered database environment management and support
* Ability to perform any/all tasks within ORACLE and MS SQL DBA lifecycle: design, development, unit/class testing, maintenance, and documentation
* SQL, PL/SQL knowledge
* Microsoft Windows operating system
