Database Administrator / DBA
· 3-4 years experience with Oracle 10gR2 or 11g
· Experience with Unix/Linux including basic commands and shell scripting
· Experience with Oracle RMAN, Import/Export (Datapump is desired)
· Performance tuning skills including server configuration, Oracle Trace, Oracle Wait analysis, Oracle ASH analysis, Oracle SQL execution plans
· Experience working with multiple projects/tasks and able to self-prioritize to ensure tasks are completed with informal supervision
· Experience in writing SQL and PL/SQL language
· Experience supporting multiple teams within a business, including Software Engineers and Line of Business Managers
Education
· BS Degree in the Hard Sciences is required, preference is in Computer Science but Math, Physics, etc. are good as well.
· Full-time (exempt) position or contract or contract to hire.
· Candidate must be either a US citizen or a US permanent resident.
