Oracle DBA
· Provides assistance for production application and database support, including researching production problems and determining corrective action where appropriate.
· Maintain environments for development, unit testing, user acceptance testing and production purposes, including the execution of change management procedures.
·
o 3 - 5 years of Oracle Database Administration experience 10g or higher. Should have strong understanding of database fundamentals and have proficient DBA skills.
o 3-5 years of Unix/Linux experience, good working knowledge of Unix/Linux scripting.
o Strong Interpersonal Skills
· Good verbal and written communication skills
· Effective problem solving abilities with an attention to detail
· Proven ability to work independently or on a team on multiple tasks with commitment and willingness to see issues through to resolution
· Strong collaboration skills and be result orientated
· Detail oriented and organized
· Ability to find innovative solutions
· Ability to think critically and creatively
· Must be able to work flexible hours and when needed
