Senior Manager, Data Warehousing Solutions

-Provide leadership in the establishment and running of a global solution delivery center to design, develop and implement world-class data warehousing,business intelligence and reporting applications. The competency center will utilize best practices in development across all existing and applications and will position a new delivery model across the enterprise.

-Build and lead a newly created role and team while providing the vision and roadmap for the competency center and factory of how it will serve to align the IT organization around key data and reporting rationalization programs while streamlining and centralizing development activities for new solutions across the enterprise.

-Establish and manage ongoing relationships with key external partners, including a host of software partners, systems integrators.

-Drive best practices in development through the utilization of SDLC, CMM and/or other software development methodologies while setting global standards that can be leveraged in other areas of the company as the business adopts next generation solutions.

-Working with the business facing IT and architecture teams, drive a world class data governance program. Help the company structure a governance model that drives unification and standardization of data while also helping build proper gating processes as the business adopts an enterprise wide data strategy.

-Ensure a smooth transition from the business partner IT teams into the delivery competency center. Establish appropriate metrics, milestone reviews and gating disciplines to keep the business, IT organization and key partners informed. -Develop a world-class solutions organization that is inspired, engaged and have key competencies needed to drive the development of value-creating solutions for the enterprise.

-Mentor, coach and develop a world-class information technology team. Hiring Criteria -Strong technical foundation to include an undergraduate degree in computer science or a related field ideally combined with an M.B.A. or advanced technical degree. The successful candidate should have at minimum 12 years of information technology experience in roles of increasing complexity.

-Proven track record of leading large scale program and change management initiatives in a complex global environment is required. In addition, the leader will possess strong planning and project management skills and the ability to effectively deploy and direct resources. Expertise and previous experience in driving off-shoring and outsourcing relationships is also required as the successful candidate will work closely with outsourced partners supporting the company's development and application maintenance efforts.
