Database Architect
* Design, implement, and optimize relational database(s) and data warehouses
* Write stored procedures to support database activities
* Manage the release process for database environments
* Support data manipulation, generation, and clean-up requirements
* Manage the evolution of database environments throughout the software development cycle
* Creates High Level Designs (HLD) from requirements and lead prototyping efforts
* Review detail designs, implementation plans, project plans and code
* Understand technology limitations/features and set expectations
* Create and enforce database development standards and processes
* Research new features, software and tools
* Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent
* 7+ years of experience in software development
* 5+ years of experience in MS SQL Server 2005/2008 administration and development
* .NET experience
* A good understanding of Database Architecture principles, Data Warehouses and Data Cubes and Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services
* Expert with Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
* ETL experience
