Database Analyst
• Expert knowledge of Relational Database Management Systems and SQL
• Designs extract specifications from SQL databases
• Performs data analysis and develops design specifications for migration of data between systems SQL coding ability for extensive troubleshooting of SQL issues
• Possesses an understanding of stored procedures, indexes, etc.
• Effective communication skills
• BS Computer Science or 5+ years industry experience
• 3+ years in Systems/Data Analyst position
• Preferred Programming Administration in Development Languages
• Industry Credentials/Certification in software development and SQL preferred
• Must have MS SQL and Access working knowledge and familiarity and hopefully Excel
• Solid understanding of accounting and financial systems and practices
• Experience supporting financial systems and report generation
• Experience with business analytics and business intelligence tools
• Able to meet company deadlines and work effectively with team members
Responsible for: Managing 3 relational database software systems
Extracting information from system in a timely manner to meet business needs
Developing improvements and updates to systems
Overseeing website status and improvements
Systems migration and upgrades
