Database Administrator
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or its equivalent training/work experience is required.
At least four years of IT experience including one to three years of database environment background required.
Experience with Relational Database Management Systems, Client Server architecture, and participation in at least one major system installation is required.
Knowledge of computer hardware, software, and various operating programs/languages (Job Control Language, COBOL, Assembler Languages, etc.) and programming skills such as coding, programming logic, etc.
Knowledge of processing logic of Company-based computer systems.
Knowledge of database environment and multiple Database Management Systems such as DB2, UDB and SQL Server systems.
Knowledge and underwriting of a comprehensive methodology used to plan, design, build and implement integrated information systems.
Must have strong SQL query and tuning experience.
Must have actual experience with a major Database upgrade and CA7/Cybermation or comparable schedulers and experience.
Demonstrated technical writing and communication skills, along with presentation skills.
Organizational skills sufficient for coordinating detailed activities of database projects; ability to work under strict deadlines.
Flexibility to work in a changing, fast-paced environment.
