Sr. Data Warehouse Implementer
Works with implementers and designers to define and resolve complex data warehouse project issues.
Follows Change Management and Configuration Management processes for both design and implementation of physical databases.
Tests upgrades; identifies errors or inconsistencies with vendors' software applied to Company's data environment.
Identifies installation problems and consults with vendors' technical support staff.
Administers the ETL software and provides support to the technical environment.
Required Skill Sets:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Datastage Server/Parallel Edition v 7.5
Db2 udb/zos database system (example: sql, store procedure, recursive sql)
Unix shell scripting
Data Warehouse knowledge / best practice methodology
ER / Dimensional Modeling
Additional Skill Sets (preferred):
Cosort - sorting tool
IBM's Insurance application architecture - Model
