Oracle DBA
Looking for a Database Administrator to plan, design, implement, and maintain complex, integrated information systems involving a combination of in-house and third party applications. Provide consultative advice to information system developers, application developers, and end users.
· 1-3 years of Oracle database administration experience
· Experience with PL/SQL and/or T-SQL development and tuning
· Knowledge of Oracle 10g/11g database architecture
Working knowledge of Linux and vi editor
· Familiarity with shell scripting or perl
· BS Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience required
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred:
· Experience with Oracle RAC and/or MS cluster services
· Working knowledge of MySQL or Postgres
· Working knowledge of Toad, PL/SQL developer, Oracle SQL Developer or any other IDE for database development
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related area preferred and 2 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
