Experience with database administration on Oracle databases (9i, 10g and 11g).
Experience with ORACLE performance tuning using SQL Trace, TKPROF, and RMAN backup and recovery as well as export/import and data pump.
Experience with ORACLE Data Guard and applying ORACLE patches.
Experience with database administration on MS SQL server 2000, 2005 and 2008.
Experience with the MS SQL Server backup/recovery architectures and procedures.
Experience with SQL Based Data Warehouse and SSIS Packages.
Strong experience in database and application level tuning, using SQL Profiler.
Understanding and ability to troubleshoot “N” Tier environment issues such as Database server, Appserver and Web server.
Familiarity with DB2. And Raven DB (open source Database)
Experience supporting development environments
Familiarity with Solaris 9 and Solaris 10. Symantech vxfs File system and Solaris 10 ZFS file system.
Experience in Unix shell scripting and DOS scripting.
