Oracle eBusiness Report Writing and Analysis Director

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and implement reports on Oracle EBS using cubes and reporting tools, such as Oracle Business Intelligence or Discover/Crystal Reports • Build and work with multi-dimensional data stores (cubes) • Design data warehouse tables • Implement Oracle out-of-box analytics and reporting solutions • Implement innovative approach in report creation and report deliveries to effectively utilize the power of the OLAP tools • Determine user requirements based on in-depth understanding of business functions • Translate user requirements into technical solutions - Design and develop meta data model to meet user analytic requirements • Perform testing and quality assurance • Identify and analyze problems, and help drive issue resolution

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of recent, hands-on technical experience in coding software using the following technologies: PL / SQL, Oracle Discover, Reports, XML Publisher, OAF, J2EE or ADF, and JDeveloper 10g+ • Experience with software and Infrastructure Change Management, Release Management, and Source Code Configuration Control • Experience with shared appl_top, 10G application server, and OID/SSO with Oracle ERP 11.5.10/R12 • Understanding of Supply Chain; Purchasing, Inventory, Order Management & iProcurement and Core Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA) • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills; able to communicate with technical and business community • Must be able to manage multiple assignments, set priorities and meet deadlines • Analytical thinker- take time to fully understand issues, ask appropriate questions, present solutions and follow through to completion • Web development experience preferred • Must be willing and able to travel within the 5 boroughs of Manhattan; travel to various New York City Health and Hospital Corporation facilities required

Knowledge and hands-on experience within the following areas:

• Designing, developing and implementing report subsystems using cubes and reporting tools such as OBIEE, Discover/Crystal • Building and working with multi-dimensional data stores (cubes) • Designing data warehouse tables • Implementing Oracle out-of-box analytics and reporting solutions • Implementing innovative approach in report creation and report deliveries to effectively utilize the power of the OLAP tools • Requirements Analysis: Determining user requirements based on in-depth understanding of business functions. Translating user requirements into technical solutions - Design and develop meta data model to meet user analytic requirements • Testing: Writing test scripts, recording test defects, preparing test data • Problem analysis
