SQL Database Analyst Responsibilities Coordinate all activities within the QA database environment Manage all of the QA database environments using easily follow and repeatable processes and documentation. Ensure replication between QA environment and live state. Ensure that the database code reaches the highest standards of quality before delivery to production . Liaise with the SQL Development , QA Team and Production Database Teams to take proactive approach to solve possible issues before they arise. Actively participate in project and DB process improvement meetings. Document all process and procedures within the QA environment. Review all SQL scripts prior to deployment in test environment. Qualifications 3+ yrs experience or educational equivalent in administering/supporting Microsoft SQL Server. Advanced use of Microsoft SQL Server Transact-SQL. Experience on Linux, UNIX and Windows operating systems, server hardware and advanced networking. Prior experience in providing continual support to developers, testers and technical end users. Experience of supporting web and commercial database applications. Outstanding attention to detail, consistency and accuracy. Ability to communicate in both written and verbal terms with all levels. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work in both global teams and single-handedly. Ability to maintain a flexible attitude to working hours to maintain 24/7 operational coverage.
