SAS PROGRAMMER III - DATASETS
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing SAS programming support in terms of SDTM datasets and reading in and reconciling electronic data. They will assume the role of Study Dataset Programmer for allocated studies. In addition as a SAS Dataset Programmer III they will provide training and technical support in using SAS for the creation of dataset and handling electronic data.
¨ Responsible for the production of SDTM datasets to the required specification.
¨ Produce Data Definition Documents (DDDs) and aCRF to the dataset.
¨ Read-in and reconcile electronic data with the CRF.
¨ QC datasets, DDDs, aCRF to ensure their accuracy and meet the client specifications and provide feedback as appropriate
¨ Produce PK merge / EDT file
¨ Take on responsibility for studies to ensure the datasets and associated documents are completed in a timely manner and to the required specification
¨ Take on responsibility for program of studies to ensure the datasets and associated documentation are consistent across studies and ensure Dataset Programmers are trained in client specific requirements
¨ Interact with clients on SAS dataset matters.
¨ Develop SAS programmable edit checks to assist in data review as needed.
¨ Answer QA audits in an accurate and timely manner.
¨ Provide guidance, mentoring, training and feedback for members of the department in SDTM datasets production processes and programming techniques.
¨ Provide departmental training where appropriate.
¨ As a Study Dataset Programmer attend and contribute at all study meetings.
¨ Perform other related duties as assigned
