Database Administrator-
The Database Administrator will be working with development, customer support and clients, providing technical and operational support activities of Database Servers, including logical and physical database design support, troubleshooting, performance monitoring, tuning, optimizing.
* Provide day to day and project support for application developers
* Reviews and optimizes all existing and new database development (stored procedures, functions, packages.etc)
*Resolves incidents and problems working with developers, support and customers to quickly resolve the problem Communication of same to stakeholders.
*Writes stored procedures, triggers, SQL code and troubleshooting (for application support and for reporting and analytics purposes)
*Performs SQL query performance analysis and tuning on a regular basis
• Required:
o Extensive experience with MS SQL server and PostgreSQL performance tuning.
o 5+ years experience with DBA (SQL and/or PostgreSQL)
o Large database experience.
