DBA Oracle Developer
* Development, maintenance, and support of PL/SQL, SQL and UNIX shell scripts for the Risk Management and Financial Reporting databases. This includes full Life Cycle activity of analysis, design, development, testing, documentation, and maintenance
* Database Design for new systems and enhancements
* Creation of System Documentation to support the databases / schemas
* Administration of the System environment and related tools. This includes Application-level Database Administration, User Administration, system monitoring, problem analysis and resolution
* Establishing and managing data integrity requirements
* Using basic Oracle backup and loading utilities (import, export, SQLoader).
* Implementing and trouble-shooting Oracle security
* Strong development experience with PL/SQL
* Thorough knowledge of the SQL language
* A good understanding of database design concepts
* Familiarity with Oracle tools, including OEM and TOAD
* Understanding of Configuration Management tools and techniques; SVN experience a plus
* A working knowledge of UNIX, focusing on UNIX shell scripting
* A good working knowledge of MS Office tools. Experience with Visio preferred
* Knowledge of Java and/or VBA and integration with Oracle is a plus
* Strong intermediate math skills, to be able to understand technical financial formulas and translate these into effective application designs
* Ability to accept challenges and change
