Senior Oracle Database Admin
Experience: Must have 5 years of related experience.
Education: Masters Degree in Computer Science, Engineering (or related discipline) with 5 years experience in software development, or Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering (or related discipline) with 7 years experience in software development.
Required Skillset:
* Working, and practical, knowledge of Oracle Database administration functions, database structures and design;
* Develop and maintain scripts and programs for data exchanges and interfaces with external systems;
* Coordinate format requirements for data interfaces with mission critical systems;
* Provide general technical and network administrative support;
* Provide metric reporting to client management; Provide monthly status to the Team Lead;
* Demonstrated user-centered service philosophy.
* Database administration, including experience with backup and recovery;
* SQL, PL/SQL;
* Support of database synchronization;
* System migration and interface support;
* Provide technical analysis and implementation support for system and functionality upgrades;
* Experience with Unix operating system and Unix scripting;
* Requires working knowledge of hardware, software and system analysis.
