SENIOR DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR
* Planning data flows for a new or revised database
* Mapping out the conceptual design for a planned database in outline
* Documentation for change management
* Considering both back end organization of data and front end accessibility for end users
* Testing new systems
* Maintaining data standards
* Controlling access permissions and privileges
* Ensuring that storage, archiving, backup and recovery procedures are functioning correctly
* Communication regularly with technical, applications, and operational staff to ensure the database integrity and security
* System Architecture and Data Modeling
* Other duties as assigned by the Development Manager
Qualifications:
* 5+ years relative experience, preferably with gaming industry experience
* 4 year college degree in Computer Science or related field
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to lead and train department employees to enhance their technical knowledge / skills
* Ability to utilize at least 2 different RDBMS to the fullest extent
* Proven hands on experience is required
* Willingness to work additional hours and travel when needed
