Senior Database Administrator
* Innovative unconventional approaches to systems architecture, performance tuning, backup and recovery, high availability and scalability
* A record of engineering performance and availability solutions as an individual contributor
* Knowledge of supporting infrastructure components, including operating systems, hardware/storage configurations and networks
* Excellent UNIX skills and a grasp of fundamental computing concepts such as system calls, memory management and program debugging
* Experience with PL/SQL and proficiency in one or more of the following development languages: C++, Java, Perl, Python, or Ruby
* Experience with database solutions such as Oracle, MySQL, S3 or SDB
* 3-5 years of industry experience required
* BS in Computer Science or related equivalent required
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* An entrepreneurial spirit with the willingness to ask questions and drive innovation
* Ability to work with technical and non-technical business owners to get things done
