Database Engineer (Postgresql/Oracle)
Technical Requirements:
· 3+ years solid, demonstrated understanding of database design and performance tuning in large enterprise software design and architecture;
· 3+ years data modeling and relational databases (PostgreSQL / Oracle, and multiple DMBS) experience;
· 3+ years demonstrated experience with scripting and creation of stored procedures essential;
· Storage infrastructure experience preferred.
Responsibilities:
· Ongoing development and evolution of a DB schema for a PostgreSQL database to assist in extensive changes to data and dependency models for the product lines;
· Work with development team to provide interface logic along with internal stored procedures and scripts.
Education :
· Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Technology or other technical or directly related field, or equivalent knowledge and experience.
