Senior Database Administrator
# Liaison with infrastructure and business users to understand and help build software systems
# Independently develop, execute and communicate a project plan relating to DB tier projects
# Responsible for working with and managing off shore resources to communicate and deliver upon project requirements
# Ensure triage policies are followed; work closely with on and off shore resources to diagnosis problems and identify solutions
# Be available for production support 24/7
Qualifications/Requirements
# Bachelor’s Degree in information technology, MIS or engineering
# Minimum of 8 years experience in RDBMS technology
# Demonstrated DBA-Skills regarding Oracle-versions: 9, 10 and 11
# Demonstrated DBA-Skills regarding SqlServer version 2000, 2005, 2008
# Experience with UNIX-shell-script to develop and enhance maintenance-scripts
# Demonstrated knowledge of Oracle-basic tools (OEM, export/import, SQL*loader), binding those tools in shell-script-based maintenance
# Experience with database monitoring and performance tuning techniques
# Strong understanding of software-development-lifecycle
# Prior experience in leading Information Technology projects and documenting information technology processes
# Minimum 5 years experience on Windows, UNIX or Linux platforms with scripting experience and a demonstrated ability toward process automationEligibility
