Data Center Operator
Responsibilities:
* Working with program execution, report generation and file transfers.
* Working with mainframe job execution and monitoring under Unisys Operation Center and FASTerm Cande environment.
* Monitoring production SQL jobs using company proprietary tools.
* Notifying responsible personnel when production problems occur.
* Forward information by distributing production and program reports.
* Provide quality control of on-line data products.
* Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Job Requirements:
* BS/BA. Degree
* Knowledge of Windows 2000 and XP Pro.
* Have and understanding of PC's and OS's.
* Familiar with basic FTP commands and batch file programming.
* Have worked with MS Office.
* Strong communication skills, verbal and written
* Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds
* Must be flexible with schedule
* Must be honest, responsible, self-motivated and willing to learn.
