Database Administrator
Database Skills
A comprehensive understanding of SQL Server 2000 and 2005.
A understanding of relational database design, data modeling, and stored procedures.
Experience in writing optimized queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
Tuning for performance of existing stored procedures and reports.
Physical design and implementation of databases a plus
Responsibilities
Provide Level 3 support for technical issues in the Enterprise applications. This includes working very closely with the Level 2 support team.
Implementation of new features into the Enterprise product
Job Requirements: Other Requirements
Previous experience supporting managing a customer database, marketing data, and associated queries and analysis is a plus
Excellent written and verbal communications skills required to be able to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Ability to work in a fast paced team environment and meet deadlines.
Education
A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or other related scientific or technical discipline is required. Professional certification may be substituted.
