Oracle DBA
DBA Experience is required in this position since the knowledge of how Oracle works can only help with understanding how Oracle handles different events/situations. This will be crucial when troubleshooting and tuning.
-Unix/Linux operating systems
-Shell scripting
-Security and encryption
-Data Analysis
-Database Design (logical & physical) along with the creation of Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs)
-Able to design data models in conjunction with existing production entities
-Experience is based on Oracle development and Oracle DBA skills
-Expert in PL/SQL and complex SQL Queries
-SQL Tuning and troubleshooting are a must
-Must know how Oracle databases operate as well as TNS, SQL*Net (with encryption), AQ, XML Gateway, XMLDB, etc
-Familiar with using Oracle in a Java/J2EE environment
-Minimum of 10 year experience with Oracle
-Able to design solutions based in an Oracle database environment
-Experience/Knowledge with Oracle 11i is a HUGE plus
-Able to lead a team in order to implement Oracle solutions
