Oracle DBA and Unix Admin
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Maintain Oracle database for multiple instances of Oracle eBusiness Suite applications on HP Unix Platform.
• Performance tuning and administrative functions on Oracle production databases.
• Ensure backup and recovery of all Oracle data using RMAN.
• Provide support to Development team on applications / database issues.
• Develop scripts for reporting, data manipulation and automation of daily tasks.
• Document system setup and changes.
• Maintain HP Unix OS and hardware.
Required Knowledge / Experience:
• Degree in Computer Science.
• 5+ years as Oracle DBA with Oracle Applications 11i.
• Experience managing multiple databases using Enterprise Manager.
• 5+ years working with HP UNIX Server operating systems including installation and configuration.
• Oracle database Admin functions.
• Enterprise Manager, RMAN, SQL, Toad, HP UX, Shell script, Oracle EBS Admin.
• Strong in analytical skill, verbal and written communication.
