Database and Systems Analyst

Responsibilities:

Query data using SQL*Plus from multiple relational databases and data warehouse *

Format, summarize and graph information for client and co-worker consumption *

development and integration project contribution *

Field questions on Software functionality from end users *

Proactively identify and resolve data exceptions *

Ad Hoc query support to internal and external customers *

Respond to customer inquiries regarding data irregularities *

Troubleshoot application errors by reviewing source code and log entries *

Assist with end user training

Required Skills / Key Experience and Characteristics

*

Intermediate to Advanced SQL*Plus skills a must *

5 years Relational Database experience *

Minimum 1 year Unix or Linux experience *

Business Intelligence or tools experience, such as Cognos or Crystal *

Strong Excel skills *

Ability to comprehend complex and interdependent business processes *

Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines *

Ability to prioritize and adjust to dynamic environment
