Business Intelligence Reporting Developer
? The Business Intelligence team is looking for hands on Decision Supporting and Transactional Reporting onsite developer who is able to work within the team and self starter.
? The individual should be a good communicator and have firm concepts of large data warehouse/DSS implementations and have thorough understanding of business intelligence/DSS from tool installation, administration, development, and delivery phases.
? The ideal candidate will also be able to grasp complex business concepts and be able to interpret and communicate to the team and business users.
? The person will be asked to write / collect business and report requirements and lead the task accomplishments
3 ' 5 Years BI and Transactional Reporting Design and Development playing a key role in Delivery Mechanism
Databases:
? Oracle 10g ' 3 - 5 Years
? SQL Server 2005 ' 3 to 5 Years
Data Modeling Tools
? Toad Modeler
? Erwin Data Modeler
OLAP Tools
? Crystal Enterprise Reports Services (2-4 Yrs)
? SS Reporting Services and SS Analytical Services (2-4 Yrs)
? Oracle Reporting Tools (2-4 Yrs)
Script Writing
? T-SQL, SQL and PLSQL
? Extensive Usage on DB and Reporting Level Functions
? Windows Scripting and Unix Shell Scripting
Methods and Approaches
? Understanding and Designing Normalized Data Model (2-4 Yrs)
? Understanding and Designing Data Warehouse Data Model (2-4 Yrs)
? Understanding and Designing Cubes (2-4 Yrs)
Knowledge In
? Designing and Developing Tabular and Cross Tabular Reports
? Designing and Developing Cube Reports and Slice and Dice Reports
? Experience with Linked Reports, Dashboards and Scorecards and etc
? Web Data Mining Techniques and Analytics
? Strong understanding behavioral and Transactional Reports
? Willing to accept ownership and commitment on deliverables
? Team player, Quick learner and Fun personality
? Go getter that will not rest on past deliverables and will stretch the teams capabilities.
