SQL Database Administrator/Developer

Requirements

* Detailed knowledge of SQL Server 2005 and 2008. Ability to write Window scripts to support database maintenance, creating databases, database objects, users, roles, etc. Establish appropriate end-user database access control levels. Replication Services knowledge is desirable. * Strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices, including Tables, Views, Triggers, Stored Procedures, database tuning and troubleshooting. * Able to maintain and support production systems, including some off hours and weekend work as required. * Provide assistance to support existing disaster recover procedures, capacity planning and performance tuning to ensure high availability, high security and high performance of the DBMS. * Develop projects in .NET framework using C#, with VB experience a plus. * Knowledge in the following applications is also a plus: Reporting Services, Analysis Services, Integrations Services, Visual Studio 2005 and Microsoft SharePoint. * Troubleshoot existing code. * Work proficiently in MS Word and Excel. * Meet project deadlines with appropriate communications to the Marketing and Sales group. * Provide regular status reviews and estimates for completion of all projects with appropriate levels of management.
