Database Administrator

This position is for an Oracle DBA working for Enterprise Services / System Design and Integration. This position will support and maintain existing production databases and requires Oracle database administrator experience. Will also be required to support new database development. This position may also be required to support both in-house developed or vendor COTS-developed applications. Occasional after hours and weekend support will be required. Support may require virtual support of other databases as well.

Qualifications: - Configuring and maintaining Oracle backups - Database storage management - Building/rebuilding tables and indexes - Account and security administration - Writing SQL queries - Familiarity with SQL*Loader - Familiarity with UNIX shell scripting - Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills - Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
