Database Administrator

Requirements: ** 5-7 years as a senior SQL Server DBA using SQL Server 2005, 2000, and 7.0. ** Experience in large-scale, high availability environments (50+ servers) housing multiple large to VLDBs. ** Ability to work in a demanding, high pressure environment. ** Top-notch communication and demonstrative skills are required. Candidate will work extensively with developers and project groups to define project requirements, and implement solutions based on those requirements. ** Extensive experience in creating, maintaining and troubleshooting backup, recovery & DR procedures. ** Experience with SQL Server 2005/2000 server clustering and database mirroring. ** Deploying schema changes from QA to production and monitoring/measuring performance and processing impacts in QA environments as changes are tested. ** Expert in performance monitoring and tuning in SQL 2000/2005. ** Expertise with creating technical documentation of newly implemented systems.
