Database Administrator

This individual is expected to

§ Write T-SQL statements to analyze customer data

§ Interface directly with the customer to define mapping specifications based on data analysis

§ Create, debug, and execute T-SQL scripts and stored procedures that match data mapping specifications

§ Perform data imports, exports, and modifications

§ Perform QA and database validation on all test and live conversions

§ Work on assigned tasks as a member of a project team as required

Skills Required:

§ Minimum one year experience working with Microsoft SQL Server and relational databases

§ Strong Transact-SQL & MS Data Transformation Services (DTS) knowledge

§ Strong analytical skills

§ Ability to work in a team/collaborative environment but to also work independently with the customer

§ Solid communication and interpersonal skills

Skills Desired:

§ Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)

§ Prior database conversion experience

§ Prior implementation experience

§ Prior experience in the health and fitness industry

Education Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or equivalent
