Type Full Time Posting Job Description This extensive experience Oracle DBA located in Parsippany will be on-site supporting for our client, and remotely supports our NYC based database center and clients as well.

Roles and Responsibilities

Oracle database administrator for large warehouse database applications; installing, maintaining, upgrading, configuring, monitoring, trouble-shooting and tuning Oracle Real Application Cluster (RAC) and Grid Control; pursuit backup, recovery, data load, data modeling, logic and physical database designs; capable to handle ETL processes through in-house developed Unix Shell and Perl scripts and third party Abinitio software tool; understanding business logics for loading processes and ability to maintain and upgrade these loading processes; ability to write and tune SQL statement and to assist developers in design and optimization of PL/SQL stored procedures; experienced with AIX and Sun Solaris, Linux and Windows environment.

Qualifications and Requirements

Applicant must have degree in computer Science/engineering or equivalent computer related education; 5 + years experience as Oracle DBA; Knowledge or experience in Oracle Application Server or Oracle Replication or Oracle Streams a plus; excellent written and verbal communication skills; Must be highly motivated and able to plan work, organizes time, maintain workflow.
