Database Administrator

SQL Server DBA. Candidate should have 5 years experience with SQL Server Administration. The Job will involve regular DBA activities such as installation, backup/recovery, tuning, data loading, migrations, upgrades, etc.

Position Requirements

* Maintain SQL Servers in multiple environments. * Ability to meet deadlines, self motivated and can work independently. * Ability to write and maintain complex SQL Server Stored Procedures with transactional control. * Excellent at performance tuning methods such as index tuning, query optimization, memory and server configurations. * Good understanding of Transactional Replication. * Experience creating data models. * Excellent communication skills and team player. * Ability to communicate to non-technical professionals. * Assist with developing test plans for verification and validation. * Good troubleshooting and debugging skills. * Work with development team in troubleshooting application and database issues. * Need to participate in code reviews. * Keep management advised to the progress and issues encountered while performing regular DBA tasks.
