Database Administrator

a Database Administrator to perform a mix of duties such as: database administration, system design, data analysis, process engineering, and system performance monitoring. This position supports all customers for our expanding Digital Rights Management. This position will be working both independently and as a team member to insure database efficiency and near 100% up-time. Qualification Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in related field or equivalent experience

Experience: 3+ years of solid experience in the support and administration of DBMS systems in large multi platform, 24x7 environments Skills: • General knowledge of database administration, programming and systems analysis procedures. • General knowledge of database software and operating systems. • Good communications, writing and editing skills needed to transfer information to individuals involved in development process. • Must be able to manage stress and pressure due to implementation deadlines, production down systems, and nature of application development and implementation • Must have the technical capability to identify, analyze, and resolve complex problems within production • controlled environment • Ability to work independent and as a team member
