Data Base Administrator

Looking for an experienced Senior Database Administrator with strong background in MS Transaction Server, MSSQL Server, Oracle 9/10i, and data warehouse concepts to join our team in Quantico, VA. The selected DBA will be performing the following tasks:

* Will create/modify tables, views, stored procedures, index, replication scripts, DTS packages and ER diagrams * Optimize SQL queries and transition them to Oracle DBA * Migrate data and incorporate new technology as applicable * Understand software development and configuration management processes * Identify and resolve system database problems

Required Skills

The selected DBA must have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 4 to 6 years of database development and administration experience, or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Knowledge of engineering practices and techniques; proven proficiency in designing, testing, etc., of engineering systems and subsystems; capability to understand, interpret, and generate engineering documentation. Must have SQL Server, data warehousing, database design, development and administration experience.
