Oracle DBA

The Database Operations team is seeking an Oracle DBA for large, 60+ TB, data warehouses. The selected individual would be part of a team managing production databases, test and development databases, support active development teams, and manage national projects. Primary responsibilities would include day to day database administration, performance tuning, security, and address database alarms and errors. Individual would be consulted by development teams in regards to proposed design and architecture and will also be engaged by platform engineering teams in regards to hardware upgrades. The user community will consist of all network operation employees nation wide from the market levels up to executive headquarters level. Individual must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment. Position Qualifications:

Requires Bachelor's Degree or equivalent. 5+ years Oracle 9i, 10g, 10g Grid Control, Upgrades/Patches, SQL, PL/SQL, Unix , Sun Solaris, Developer Support, Experience with VLDBs (> 10TB) preferred, Gateways, Partitioning, Production Systems required. Must be willing to be part of 24x7 on call rotation.
