Clinical Database Designer

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: .Bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics, biostatistics, mathematics, biology or other health related field .Or equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the individual with the required knowledge, skills and abilities •Minimum of 5 years experience in a clinical trials environment or similar field •Minimum of 5 years experience with Oracle applications in a programming or administration capacity.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: .Demonstrates leadership experience and the ability to work and communicate effectively on a multi-disciplinary team .Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to adapt and adjust to changing priorities and to manage multiple assignments with challenging/conflicting deadlines .Knowledge of relational database systems (RDBMS) and structures .Experience in Oracle and with Oracle tools .Strong working knowledge of SQL and/or PLSQL .Effective oral and written communication and presentation skills .Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills .Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality with clinical data and client’s proprietary data .Ability to attain, maintain and apply a working knowledge of GCPs and applicable SOPs .Strong attention to detail and skill with numbers .Demonstrated experience in identification and resolution of technical problems in a professional environment .Demonstrates a positive attitude, enthusiasm towards work, and the ability to work well with others .Able to set and meet timelines or negotiate schedule changes in response to project demands
