Data Base Administrator

Primary Duties:

- Administer, maintain, configure and tune up set of relational databases on multiple platfroms

- Transform development team requests into data base configurations

- Assist development team with database tracing and detecting performance bottlenecks

- Assist development team and quality assurance team with database client configuration on multiple platforms

Skills and Knowledge:

- 4 or more years experience with relational databases including Oracle and/or DB2

- Experience with MS SQL Server, Informix, Sybase and/or Teradata is desirable

- Experience with database servers configuration and tune up on two or more of the following platforms – Windows, AIX 5.x, Solaris 8-10, HP UX 11.x is desirable

- Relational database design

- Experienced in working with complex technical architectures

- Strong analytical and problem solving skills

- Well organized and able to work on several projects at the same time

- A results oriented individual who thrives working in a fast paced environment

- Computer Science degree or diploma or equivalent training and experience
